I bought one in NZ a few years ago, I think it cost me $175. I tested it out on the TECT range and it was accurate at all the distances there (25-300m). I thought at longer range aiming at...

Not mil or FFP, but my favorite scope is my Leupold VX3i 2.5-8x36 with S1 dial. It's zeroed at 200m, and iirc the single turn dial limits out at 500-550m for my standard load (308win, 178 ELD-X...

The species name for European type breeds (Angus, Hereford etc) is Bos taurus, Eastern breeds like Brahman are Bos indicus, that will be where the name Taurindicus for the crossbred came from.

A bit of a wild guess, but perhaps it's dimpling from a buildup of the sizing wax? Maybe with the straight walled case the wax from the neck end builds up and causes dimples, but pushing the brass...

I'd just load up a good number of a middle-of-the-range load and concentrate on getting the rifle sighted in. You may not have the most accurate or fastest load, but it won't be miles off and will be...
