Furthest I've shot on animals is 250 I'd say 300 would be stretching it only a 1-6x24 so not a long range. Through it together for bush and culling, it's a heavy barrel

It is nicer then the factory for sure, being adjustable you can lighten it down till it doesn't work then bring it back up, removes creep etc
