Collins 90 seems to work OK. Was recommended to me. Don't know about its comparison to hoppes but was told hoppes wasn't as good as it used to be. I haven't done enough barrel fouling to see

Always wanted one. Never got one. When I got rid of the woodsmaster 243 that wouldve been the time but mate put me onto a M70 lightweight 243 and stuck with that. Now I seem to buy other calibres.

I will say when I got the BSA international target rifle project a while back I was noticeably quieter with the nearly 29 inch barrel and subsonics. Quite surprised after I shortened it to 19....

I was a fan of tru-oil. Also see a tru-oil/armour-all mix is meant to work very well. Last one I did was with Danish oil and pretty happy with that, but that hasn't made it into the field just yet
