I know for a fact that deer culled near chch recently had meat recovered, commercially minced and donated to a local food bank. But that type of thing is easy when close to town.

My main rifle is a howa 1500 in .308win for which I reload. I don't think there is any advice i would give that wouldn't apply to any other 308. 2206H is ideal, and probably the most versatile...

There is only one easy way and that is an air rifle or .22. If you can't use that then use one of the many excellent kill traps on the market. Sentinel or trapinator traps are MUCH better kill...

There is a mint secondhand SS/walnut 85 in 223 at H&F in Dunedin at the moment. Looks to be a 1/12 twist. I think anyway as it has 12" stamped on barrel.
