For me around 3.5kg is a sweet spot, not to heavy to lug about and not to light that is dances about when shooting. I can certainly understand the desire for a going under 3kgs for those guys who do...

Yup, if your biggest critters hares and possums, go for 17hmr. Cheap to run, much quieter than a 223, arguably safer and more range than a 22. Would recommend a suppressor for the 17.

Thanks team, I'm thinking 13" will get pretty it bloody short and a wee bit of leeway over legal minimum length. And DPT, which I can add more sections to it later if need be.

I currently have a plastic Huush brand one and its pretty shit, quite loud compared to my mates skinny metal one (might be an old parker hale)
