Also check out how much the ammo is, not just about calibre you also need to see how much it will cost to feed the beast! Bets prices i have gotten for ammo is at the outdoorsman in roto vegas, good...

Baz I have just started to read this thread but. I am loading a 270win with 2209 @53.5 grains underneath a 130 scirroco. It averages 2910 fps, we never had to go higher so didn't find any pressure...

I use 1/4" x 3/8" aluminium tubing which is readily available from any aluminium supplier. Cut the two pieces to the correct length and roughen the outside surface for good adhesion from the bedding...

I am not sure why there would be a argument, as the .270 can stand alone and is outstanding in any group of rifles :)
