I went down this path years ago. Started with a 308 went to 300wsm. Had a WSM for close to 20yrs. Shot deer from 20m to 750m. A great caliber to own, my favorite was 200g eld x. I have now gone back...

Interestingly I have used a magnetospeed on my rifles, all suppressed so the unit attaches to the suppressor (not sure if that makes a difference) at 100m I did not detect any impact shift or change...
