Forget how much they weigh Danny, you have to be a skinny bloke to ride them. They are designed to take 100kg max from memory. Best option would be a Buzz Bike, sold here in Chch. Work mate has one,...

Shot a handfull of deer and goats with it now, ranges from 5m to 300m (missed at 500 but that wasn't the scopes fault) For the price it is a good value scope. What I like, 1 inch tube, fairly...

buzzman if you had a 20” 308 and a 20” 30/06 side by side (and loaded to equal pressure) the 30/06 will win the velocity contest every day. It won’t win an efficiency competition at short lengths,...

Around 57/57.5 gns of 2209 will give you low to mid 2800's fps with a 180 in a 22"tube. However i have had some rifles where that load is a bit warm and have to drop back to 56.5. Its a pretty std...

Have 2 of them, work very well reducing muzzle jump & recoil. Especially with light rifle & grunty caliber. In the field I can’t tell any difference in noise levels vs standard end cap.

165 to 180gn projectiles is where the 30/06 does its best work. for the short barrel forget the 30/06 and go for the 308 IMO. 30/06 would be better served with a 22" barrel.
