    9 x out of 10 you only need to bed the front recoil lug and back tang, so as there is no stress on the action, then go futher if needed.

    I was going to suggest a quicky job to see if tightens groups up immediately...so you stop chasing tail with testing till have ruled it out.... dead easy to do and results may change dramatically .
