My rem mag load was 20thou off jam and 2935fps from memory, but every rifles jam point and mag length will be different.

I've been using steel without issue for about a year, just need to be sure none stays in the case but that's not hard, I also put a bit of scotch bright in the bottom of my canister dunno if it helps...
