    Talleys ring/bases have only two parts, we are not talking about attaching seperate bases and then a set of rings. They are every bit as effective as dovetail rings.

    even with integral dovetail type rifles the ring base still requires a small screw or two for the clamping on to the dovetail, so no real world difference to the 4 small screws needed for the Talleys...
