   Consistent cheek weld and no parallax is not a problem. I've just switched to a VX6 2-12x42 with no parallax adjustment. It wasn't too hard to shoot 0.6MOA group at 550yds.

    Plastic bolt shrouds ? Saves so little weight but makes an unbreakable part weak when dropped on the ground and so unaesthetic with no functional advantage.
