Those little scopes are terrible to look through. Very narrow field of view. They were made for air rifles but they were not really any good for those. You would be better off with a cling film roll...

I got a cheap trade me scope that made things smaller. If jou are going to get one just go straight to ali express and cut out some middle mans clip.

Your chamber might be the original stepped throat (compound) design that Alexander Arms used when designing this round. Some later designs of throat allow a bit more room for the 123gr. I used CFE223...
