75 Amaxs seem to be popular, yet to try them in my 223. Tried some factory ammo loaded with 69smks, seemed to shoot as good as the usual 55gr loads. Put holes in my 6mm steel targets at 100m though!

Just to add to that, PM me if you can get to Palmy some time and I'll adjust my son's bow to suit and give you an intro to shooting. The other place to look at is popping in to the Kapiti Archery...

really need a bow to start on - there's a lot to take on when you start with a bow, and if you have a compound then it needs to have the draw length and poundage set to your size and strength....

In summary: homemade versus purchased... It is really no bother to make, once you have mixed up the spices, salts etc. I bought the meatcloth from Bin Inn for $5.00, in a two metre length....

Funny thing about dogs isn't it...they sleep all day in their kennel...let them out and they go nuts for a few minutes then lay down and sleep again.
