   i cut the lighter plug off mine and put crocodile clips on and went straight to the battery way better and the light was brighter as well

   Part number for the Hella plug is 4915 comes with a cover. You can still use your male cig plug but about $10 go to the higher rated male plug too. :P

   Would suggest that you wire in a External 20-25amp fuse between the battery and the Spotlight. If you pinch the spotlight lead and earth it, it will fry the wire and could cause a fire. Repco have...
