Well what do you do when you put a 50mm scope on a classic hunting rifle that was never designed for it ? Most stocks, particularly the straight comb ones are so low you can't get good cheek contact...

ebf liked post by MassiveAttack On thread : Lee collet die
The lee collet neck die + redding body die is my preferred way to load rounds. Much gentler on the brass and much less run out than using a normal die with an expander ball. Cheap as well. Add a...

ebf liked post by Gillie On thread : Teaching newbie target shooters to use a scope
Yep, ok. Probably more important to get them shooting consistently first and then try and teach them the finer details. I assume you have them off a bipod and not sling shooting. Sort out eye...

ebf liked post by Kscott On thread : Teaching newbie target shooters to use a scope
We used to mount an eye blind on scopes, found newbies could concentrate on looking and shooting 1st, rather than the effort of closing one eye/screwing up face, etc. ...

Just a bloke doing his job the best he can. He's neither a sheep farmer or a PR expert. Nor a gun nut or a trained marksman. He's just a country cop. He did good. And I bet he doesn't trawl the...
