I'm curious why you want to restrict yourself to varmint projectiles for shooting deer ? Personally I would rather go for a more traditional projectile, something like a Sierra Gameking, or Barnes...

Stug, might be different terminology, but I know the traditional ones as post & notch. Then you get peep sights like the skinner and tech Also ghost ring on HK MP5, very fast acquisition

Interesting momento from this weekend.... I hurt my left shoulder about 2 months ago, had some acupuncture for it, but never quite came right. Seems like I needed a bit of recoil therapy, all good...
