Mine doesn't rattle. It has a small amount of play when connected to the picatinny rail. Nothing to be of a concern. I highly rate it.

Arca is ok but it is significantly more real estate on the fore end and needs a much larger flat area to sit nicely. On a hunting rig I'd personally pick the small pic rail every time
