I haven't got passed the early twenties female gym/exercise influencers, why the hell would I want to watch some dude using gear I can't afford, in places I can't afford access to, shoot...

Fatberg liked post by woods223 On thread : Colfo trust & confidence survey
NZDA were notably absent regarding supporting firearms owners after Ch-Ch or taking a stand against the firearms reforms until quite late in the piece. One statement they did make was that they saw...

Fatberg liked post by brad On thread : Identifying yearling hinds
If the deer are a problem and they want them gone or reduced then I would shoot whatever stands in front of you. If you can shoot the hind and fawn then great otherwise I wouldn't lose sleep over it...

Interesting questions. I have found front line police staff, sworn and unsworn, to be okay, approachable and polite. Not always as knowledgeable as one might expect, but competent. I...

That's my feeling too. I couldn't hand over $1200-1300 for something like that. It's not a bargain basement rifle, even the much loved Howa 1500 is $100-200 cheaper (cue: MD!). I walked in to a shop...

Funny how a simple question can generate such an emotional response from a few people. Plenty of good out of the box options out there that cost the same. The argument that you need to spend a lot...

I just do not get why people spend money on a shitty firearm that will shoot "well" after you have "worked" (meaning "fixed") the action, and replaced the trigger to something designed by somebody...

Hey mate, I'm 39 and pretty much in the same boat. Started to get serious about hunting deer this year and the key has been talking to hunters and getting out with some experienced people. ...

I have a aliexpress snfway(?) And it seems alright. I would agree it's not the greatest in low light but I'm happy with it. I'd be really keen to compare to a luepold or similar to see how...

I have an Ali Express golf range finder in my golf bag. It was around $60. It works pretty well. Lens are rubbish so I'd not think it will be very useful in low light. USB charge so could be an issue...

I hunted for 20 years with 24-26" barrels (unsuppressed) without hearing protection, and am advised – as above – that I damaged my hearing from the occasional shot, and no doubt I did, but it was...

Doesn't matter what length with no hearing protection they will both damage your hearing severely. My advice to all new and old hunters alike is to suppress the rifles you hunt with. Suppressors are...

Shooting goats/tahr/deer up to about 250-280M is one game that I happily do with just about any rifle scope combination that will hold a reliable zero. Shooting them around 300 starts to get...
