Fisherman liked post by NZShoota On thread : Tikka T1X tiny little stock??
Difference between the T3 and T3x (T1x) is due to the T3x having a thicker factory pad compared to the older T3 but when fitted with their respective original factory pads they will probably have the...

Fisherman liked post by Dan.22-250 On thread : Scope recommendations
There's many good scopes to choose from and the Leupolds and Swarovskis mentioned are definitely some of them. Since it's going on a varmint/target rifle I'd opt for higher magnification (4-20,...

Fisherman liked post by -BW- On thread : Stock repairs done the right way
I recently took my Brno to Hunter_Nick in the hope he could repair the modified stock where someone had previously fitted a side mount scope. Not only did he do a fantastic job of fixing the wood, he...

Here on the forum there has been quite a bit of discussion lately regarding different projectiles, soft frangible vs harder bonded or locked types. I am in the bonded camp and bullet pass through....

Fisherman liked post by GWH On thread : Who's seen a rimfire do this before
An update on this. I've had enough to do with rifles to come to the conclusion very quickly that I believe that there's nothing that will make this any better. I emailed the seller last night...

7mm08, boring and very vanilla, but works. 284win ticks alot of boxes if you are a handloader.

Fisherman liked post by Flyblown On thread : 6mm Creedmoor vs 243
It’s all in the twist. I have both .243 Win and 6mm Creedmoor… One hits a whole lot harder than the other. You can see it, hear it, feel it. THWOP! If you want to kill a good sized red deer at...

Fisherman liked post by 6x47 On thread : Tikka T3X stock weight
As far as std "synthetic" stocks go, the T3/T3X stocks are pretty rigid and have far less forend flex than most. About three planets ahead of a Rem SPS (shitty plastic stock).

Fisherman liked post by 199p On thread : Tikka T3X stock weight
Its not always about weight, the biggest advantage i found with carbon stocks is they shoot the same point of impact off any rest bipod loaded or unloaded, shooting off a rock or a pack it doesn't...
