as Danny is trying to explain...your projectiles are more slim and pointy....so the skinny bit goes further to rear on the curvy bit...so they need to be seated less deeply. if they fit in magazine...

As a cat and gun owner that story/video hurts both ways. You better be damn sure it's a feral cat if you're going to shoot it. What a shit situation. Agree that online mobs are shit too.

Some useless info. Someone may find it of interest. The batch of Pistol Match was a lemon. Disappointing as I purchased a reasonable quantity. Testing is quite old now and predates any Covid...

I think it's a bit different to what is described. You are trying to get to max safe pressure, and maintain that pressure in order to achieve the most force and thus acceleration on the projectile....

I've never chased the velocity demon, only acceptable accuracy. The deer cannot tell the difference between a "fast" load and a slightly lower speed load and bullet drop may not be significant.

dale, the 65gr Sierra GameKing is worth looking at as well. Can't say I've shot Tahr with them, but they work very well on Reds and Fallow.

I use the factory 55 grain Hornady on everything. reds, Tahr, pigs. All of them die. Shot a few tahr over the weekend for the freezer and they all died as well
