You have it shooting very well and not many left. Is 2950 fast enough - yes. Go hunting and aim for the shoulder. You can always crank it up later when you get a few more. 760 is an easy powder...

My load development is on here somewhere with RE16 and 162ELDX. I got up to 53.5 before getting crunchy. 53 was 2800fps in 20inch Tikka seated long. I really like RE16 - fills the case and seems...

Took the 284 for a South Island walk last week. We 4WD into a big block surrounded by DOC land and saw quite a few animals driving in including a decent boar that disappeared into a tunnel in the...

7mm Rem Mag liked post by Forestry On thread : Hand priming tool or press
I used to hand prime but lost it somewhere a few years ago moving. I have since been using the cheap Lee press and despite not having the feel of a hand press the accuracy is still the same.

Looking over my reloading desk I found the ELDx. Not bad after going through the rough part of a boar. Close to 80% retained. 176665

20inch is not that short and your same brew will work fine 30-06 is a great classic - if I still had mine and chopped to 20inch I’d run 165 SSTs and use Reloader 16.

Stoney Creek Stowit is good value. Not the most waterproof rating or breathable but very good pack size and has kept me dry. I’m not a fan of waterproof pants due to comfort if exerting. Prefer...
