My first centrefire was a Winchester M94 Trapper in 30-30, bought new in 1986 for pig hunting in the bush on horseback. I still have it, and it is the rifle most often taken out of the safe to go...

Nothing wrong with a lever action rifle, especially in 45-70. Love my guide gun.

Try Hornandy 150gn whitetails in ya 30-30, mine sprayed the fancy pants red tips all over the show but would group under an inch with the whitetails.

Bought mine 6 months ago. Was an itch I’d had for a while. While it doesn’t replace my scoped / suppressed rifles, its great fun. Looking forward to taking it bush, and chasing sika.
