I was fallow hunting and I found 40kg of biltong and sausages walking around my fallow block. I couldn't just leave it there.

Zeroed and good to go. 272740 I do think I'm seeing some lot to lot variation in the ELDMs, I purchased 1000x 108s of a single lot off here after testing initially with a different lot - I seem...

You could use 5.8ish. 1 "moa" hash should be 0.5MIL. Calibrate it by adjusting mag on the range til the reticle hashes match a measure downrange. Make a witness mark so you can hunt with it at that...

Fortunely I've done it for you! No need. Life is simple, pick a good powder from ADI, a quality bullet, put it in good brass with a near max load seated to just short of mag length or something like...

Some further reflections - 1. I would not load this bullet in this rifle with this brass/powder. I now know this load does not meet my hit-probability requirements for precision (0.07MRAD mean...

Yes. It's rarely practical in my view, I prefer not to have to think about it.

I bought some 105gr 6mm VLDs to test and see if I can identify any difference. I dunno why I keep doing this

Please do, I'm interested. VLDs specifically are reputed to have precision issues with seating depth - the single load I've tried with them was 10rd into 0.6MOA at a totally random arbitrary depth &...

The PRS bag is much "deader" than a pack - much faster to get a stable position at NPA I reckon. The rifle beds into it rather than sliding around. Very good in rocky country.
