    Yeah there's no safe level of lead for human consumption. Try not to eat it. I manage the risk while continuing to use lead bullets by not taking meat from close to the likely fragmentation...

    The TSX isn't much good at any distance where you need to care about drop anyway

    Aside from the issues around tuning. The rifle will never shoot the 95gr TMK. That bullet requires a 1:9" twist and Howa .243s come with a 1:10". The 95gr Targex will stabilise.

    The 95gr Targex is a good bullet and has shot well from several 1:10" twist .243s for me - every rifle I have tried it in.
