I don’t think they are overpriced. They just appear expensive compared to the cheap shit on the market.

Back country freeze dried meals are pretty disgusting I find. I would rather carry a pack of sausages, some bacon, 1/2 a loaf of bread etc and at least enjoy the meal. Some of that freeze dried shit...

I’ve got a 260 carbonlight, with optilocks, 3.5-10 x 40 vx3 and DPT it’s about 7lb. Light as fu*k and balances well. Shot a few deer with it now and I like the caliber.

Good shooting. It’s a great caliber till you don’t hit the animal quite right. Then it becomes fun trying to tidy up the mess. 243 owns it.

Ok. Had shoulder issues myself over the years. They don’t repair themselves so if you have a rotator cuff tear get it fixed before it atrophies or the surgeon will struggle with it. Bitch of an...

I use 147 eldm in mine but at a more modest 2700 fps. They work well. I reckon 140 ballistic tip or 140 Sierra gameking would be spot on.

7 08. I bet you will shoot it better off hand than a rem mag and a lot of your hunting will still be inside 100 yards. It’s lighter - more rounds in the mag etc. Haven’t seen a red stag inside 400...
