    It's a Bergara HMR, I dont have a chronograph so have no exact way other than trying the crude 100-300m drop with a ballistic calculator. Be a real shame if I have to drop this load but if that saves...

    Yes This Above. So to summarise, if the case has been sized so that it is too short for the particular chamber when it stretches at firing there can be separation. Which means that the 'ideal' case...

    Almost correct, what causes case head separation in that area is not actually anything to do with the die working the brass in that area....the die actually sizes very little near the case head....

    Grandpa Mac, Yes that is a great way to transition to start getting setup while you have good cash flow and more youth. Also let’s you buy in earlier and that can have benefits.
