If its alarmed and you're close enough to hear the alarm and get there within a matter of seconds (quite likely in that situation) I think you could make a pretty good argument that it is supervised...

None of my 4 Subarus have been that new, but had a good run out of all of them. Don't know of any particular problems with the later ones. I'd back a Subaru for reliability over a VW any day too.

The definition has changed a bit too... when I first heard the term in hunting circles 'bush pig' referred more to a cheap rough ugly short rifle that was handy in the bush and you didn't care about...
