No 3 's reference in the second paragraph to a LFO being held hostage is pertinent to all of us...have you thought about how you would deal with this? I have come up with a strategy for this...

If you disagree - you can aways go for a judicial review. 3 safes - That is nuts. I recall the fuss a while back over them wanting a separate lock box for ammo - not allowed to be a lock box in...

I didn't 'suggest' anything, merely made a comment based on over 50 years as a gunsmith and the frequency of which I was asked to solve missing bolt problems. Keep then in the gun as the law allows....

This is where it needs to be made clear. LAFO,s need to know what the legislation is. And it should be nation wide.

My local arms officer said I can so long as the bolt is Not in either compartment but stored elsewhere, she reckons having rifle, bolt and ammo in the one safe even though the separate compartment...

It depends on how your local Firearms Vetter, or Police Offficer interpret thier own Guidelines. (The good thing about the new Guidelines is they remove a lot of wiggle room). Have confidence...

I'd like to thank the moderators (a few new ones as well I see), that are removing individual 'problematic posts' rather than just taking a 'lazy-way-out' and nuking the whole thread which was done...
