   Yep hard to argue with any of that, a new barrel is less $ than new set of tyres on the truck (and hopefully lasts as long). Even if i tire of the 28N, im only a barrel change from a 338 edge eh.

   Yeah I use it in my 15" 708. I use to use 120gr with 49gr of cfe. But I've now gone to 140gr nbt with 46gr. It shoots better and holds better energy out much further. I got septic onto using it...

    Yep I've done reduced recoil youth loads for my 260, and I wouldn't like to push them on a deer much beyond 200 yards.
