Dorkus, I've just looked up the load I settled on in my 15" 708. 120 NBT with 49gr of CFE223 giving 2870 fps and shoots 3 into 2.25 inchs at 300 yards. I never tried the 120 SPH in this one but...

a 139gr at 2850 from a 14" barrel seems crazy fast to me. When you handload try some Sierra projectiles. 120gr prohunters shoot very very well in one of my 708's when not much else would.
