Ive just changed stocks around on a couple of my Rem Model Sevens. Which has worked out really well for both rifles. Ive ended up with one of them feeling really light, so i had to weigh it....

Ie. I have a Rem Model 7 with a 15" 708 barrel (with dpt suppressor). Running 140gr nbts, its good for out to 400 yards max. I class that as a bush pig. I also have a Tikka with a 17" 284win...

Longrun liked post by GWH On thread : rifle set ups
Bush pigs are normally standard cartridges like 7mm08 and 308, with barrels cut down much shorter than normal suppressed rifles. Often 17" and under Super pigs are the same thing but with larger...

I fully agree, i use a few Weaver scopes, a 4.5-14 Grandslam, and several SuperSlams, a couple in 2-10 and a couple of 3-15's and also a 4-20x50. Ive found them to be super reliable, great quality...

Yep as soon as suppressors became the norm, rifles with 22-24 inch barrels with long suppressors hanging off the end messed up balance and made them annoying long when carrying/stalking. Only...

I know the newer M7s are 9 twist. If barrel is left at the standard 20" they should stabilise the 69 tmk just fine. I think Tahr runs them in his.
