I use my bipod as I want everything to be as close to a hunting scenario as I can get, hence why if no one else is at the range I use I'll shoot prone with some sort of rear rest rather than off the...

I'm about to start on the long road to lighter gear for this very reason, its going to be expensive and take a lot of time but has to happen, I'm only 62Kg so big weights are a thing of the past.

I always use a pack liner and the Spika I'm currently using has a built in rain cover, however it doesn't work if you have the rifle strapped to the pack.
