I have always used Ice Breaker. Expensive, not overly hardy but are very warm, great moisture wicking and you don't smell so bad quite so quick

Nice and long.... Damn drunk typing. Went for a vest wih collar no hood, impressed wih how small it packs down. Really toasty round a cold hut or running to the long drop!
