7rm, good choice. At least you can find ammo everywhere. The great thing about the arrival of 7prc, is that there might be plenty of good 7rm for sell around :-)

It's not all about the weight savings, its more about having something purpose built for hunters needs, like carrying rifles & meat and spotters etc... Also way better materials that has gone into...

With the 75+10 bag on it, you're already up to 4.2kg which is 1kg heavier than the standard 90+10 pack.

For the money you might as well just buy a purpose built hunting pack like a Mystery ranch, Kuiu, Exo, Stone glacier etc... you'll never look at a Tatonka again.

I’ve had them all… of the ones currently being discussed still have 300win, 7 rem, 6.5prc and 7prc. 7prc ticks a heap of Boxs

Couldn’t help myself, if we’re doing ballistics.. this is the 7prc with a 20” barrel, 175 berger elete hunter starting out at 2800, and a 180 eld-m starting out at 2750. Moderate speed, I could get a...

Also - 7prc for the win. I think tahr is on the money. Horsepower was used to overcome poor BC for a long time. You don’t need to do that anymore with current projectiles. Also also, rimmed...
