Currently cycling between Lowa Tibets & Scarpa SLs(thrashed). I also use a pair of slipon rock shoes that I got from the warehouse for around camp, they weigh like 150grams or less. Ideal.

You usually get what you pay for. I have been caught out in some pretty nasty conditions, always glad I spent the extra on gear I can trust and rely on. Check out some of the Sea to Summit bags...

I wouldn't get the Guide if you're wanting a 100% waterproof jacket. The guide is more of a multi purpase jacket
