a pair of bino's also help in the bush, you can see through the bush more, look for things that aren't natural in the bush eg horizontal line of a deers back, a flicker of a deers ear, their bums...

+1, been there ,done that. cheaper in the long run to get the bino - rangefinder combo in one unit, and a lot more convenient. have lost deer in past by finding them in binos then getting range...
