    Pretty sure you're better off buying new mag. Reasonablely sure feed lips are tighter/narrower on 223 mag. Wouldn't think it would be worth the hassle.

    162 Eldm or 150 eldx sitting on 2208 or rl17 gets the job done nicely. A few of thoth those projectiles about at moment (be quick) power might be harder to come by.
