Cactus huntaway and scabbard, great setup! Can fly camp for a couple of nights in summer and fit two boned out reds in it. Small enough to not be a PITA while stalking but big enough .

I wouldn't use Accubonds, you wont get them going quick enough out a 16" to expand. You will have runners! No need for fancy bullets at close range. I'd go BT/SST or standard softpoint. Will work...

Went through this process recently. Looked through a lot of different binoculars. Narrowed it down to the leica trinovids and the Zeiss conquest. To my eyes the the Zeiss had the better image. Alot...

Yeah have contemplated it but they are a hell of a price! if you run the numbers thru a ballistic calculator the 150gr (even a 2700fps) has loads of oomph out to about 400 odd meters. The drop isn't...

Yup go direct... Sent my 1980 khales scope back to Austria to get some fuzz cleaned off the reticle. Had it back in 3 weeks with a full set of seals, new nitrogen purge and clran reticle. Also a...

Well, trip to the range this weekend was productive... Comfortably got the 125gr AB's doing 3000fps and 150gr BT's doing 2860fps! Both just under MOA accuracy, not bad for a 16" tube! Think my...

Hey Husky, I agree I'll load some more rounds up with the 139gn pills and shoot some 5 shot groups to see how they go. I realise 3 shot groups don't mean too much. Only reason I was shooting 3 shot...

Your dead right! Freezer test resulted in internal fogging, so not airtight 😐. Overall condition of the scope is excellent, lens are unmarked and the bluing on the body is in really good nick for...
