   I went all considerate and put my dog in the kennel at the Oamaru hut. The other occupants begged me to bring her in. The howling, complaining was too much for them. Used to have her own jacket...

   well they have provided video evidence of what they did...IF DOC decide its an issue no doubt they will be prosecuted.. I see NO ISSUE. I would happily see UNDER CONTROL WORKING dogs allowed...

    7x57 and 7x64 both great cartridges. 7x64 is EU equivalent of the 280. Agree with Husky1600 ... they never went away, just belong to discerning owners. Good to see some newer rifles coming out...

    Yes, file it with a very slight forward taper and polish the surface with wet & dry backed by the file. Breaking the sharp edges also helps. Bed from the front edge of the mag well to about 50mm up...
