I bought a Baikal MP-153 as my first shotgun and have never seen any reason to buy another - it's fantastic! I've fired everything from cheap 2-3/4" skeet loads up to heavy 3.5" goose slaying loads...

Paid around $200 USD to get a single-shot .22 lr across the Merica/Canuckistan border plus an additional $200 for shipping and taxes. Having said that, I'd imagine that it would be far easier to buy...

Could make for a bit of a mess on a small goat but it'll certainly be effective! I hunted with a full wood No.4 Mk.1 during my first whitetail season.
