Found a pic of mine and if you look closely you can see rail is tapered and shaped to fit around barrel taper. This rail came from gunworks and was a good price. 162936

A gent at the range today let me fire a few rounds through his fully wooded mauser in 7x57. What a fantastic shooting round! Very mild recoil and was able to shoot 1.5 inch groups with open sights...

Bloody fingers, my drop tube is 550 mm long not 40mm. The ones in the funnel set are too short. Made mine out of a length of copper tube. W296 is a bastard, it jammed up the rotating tube on my...

My M12 Mauser makes the rest feel like their bolts are wrapped in sandpaper and dipped in golden syrup. And the trigger makes the rest feel like PTO hitches on an old Fergie.

Nope. Dont need it for the 50cal at all. But if it's big and strong enough to handle that, my 416 and anything smaller should be fine

Jhon, that’s what I was hinting at in my earlier post. The throats are “Lovelace “ in dimension for a lot of 7mms. So load to mag length or seat to a depth of 1 caliber diamenter for the lighter...
