My M12 Mauser makes the rest feel like their bolts are wrapped in sandpaper and dipped in golden syrup. And the trigger makes the rest feel like PTO hitches on an old Fergie.

Nope. Dont need it for the 50cal at all. But if it's big and strong enough to handle that, my 416 and anything smaller should be fine

Jhon, that’s what I was hinting at in my earlier post. The throats are “Lovelace “ in dimension for a lot of 7mms. So load to mag length or seat to a depth of 1 caliber diamenter for the lighter...

Update. Checked clearance of cartridge guides as suggested. All seems good with no tight spots. Watching the cartridges closely as they cycle, the two lugs on the bottom of the ejector are catching...

Yeah W760 morphed into H414, or maybe the other way around, around the time Hodgdon took over the marketing of Winchester powders. Old old reloading data should show a difference between the 2...

Have a BSA Viscount in 7x57. With 140 Sierra pills it grouped best at 44.5 and then at 47.0 of H414 (which is W760 with the Hodgon label)). Seated 30 thou off the lands. Sub moa consistently with...

Jhon, Some general comments on loading for the 7mm Mauser from my experience with ex mil 98 spotters and a rimmed single shot. I support Mathais’ comments on WW760, it seems to be excellent in...

Only comment I can add, I always used W760 powder & a magnum primer for the 7x57 with excellent results. 760 is a very dense ball powder, so the mag primer was a good option for ignition. From memory...

Just take the whole decapping assembly out and resize as normal. Or if you have case mouths that are out if round, just remove the decapping pin. I use a universal decapping die and never use the...
