   Jit, your carbon wrapped barrel would account for most of the weight difference in your comparison. Also, the aluminium Talley lightweight mounts vs the steel Optilock ringmounts make a difference...

    I wear a belt, it has 2 small canvas pouches on it, has a lead for the dog, smoke indicator, couple of spare knives, hunting permits, PLB and can fit my range finder and also on the belt a nice hand...
