    Jit the best factory ammo currently available in NZ is the Hornady 325gr Leverevolution. Reloads take the 45-70 to whole new level, My current loads are: 57grs AR2207 and Hornady 300gr projectiles...

    yes but mine on a long range black powder cartridge rifle 30 inch barrel and weighs 10 or more lb so not really a compact bush gun lol i have 2 mates with gide guns one in 45-70 the other in 450...

    Agree. It doesn’t have the vx5 3-15 reticle but I’m using vx6 3-18. You can change the max magnification in settings. Seems to work although I’m dialling so don’t really use it.
