Hi all I have posted this pic on the forum before, however I thought I had shot a young up and coming sika when I get him aged from his jaw it turns out he is 10.3 years old. Don't feel so bad now....

My best and only Sika stag for 2024 so far shot last Sunday. Shot at a distance of 10m with Brno 243 and Remington 100 grain. Still trying to find that ellusive 8 pointer. 250691

Just got home, plenty of roaring action each day, continuous through the whole day as well even with a HeliSika chopper running above us a few times. At one point had 4 animals around us single...

247269 No monster but a true blue bush Sika stag with a body the size of a yearling Red. Few heehaws but nothing serious in the Kawekas that I have heard. Came trotting in to a single call.
