    Yeah we paid 16K for a 1997 70 series with 250,000 on it about 4 years ago. It was a good buy at the time.

    What year? I think you're estimate is more realistic, but if he wants $12K, I'd say buy it providing it runs well and is mechanically sound. He'll have no trouble selling it I can guarantee that!
