I've used capped turrets to dial for 10+ years. Never lost one... yet, haha.

I reakon the Leupold vx freedom, with the CDs will be great little scope for a 223 you can get a 3-9 or 4-12 at a reasonable price.

BDC reticle or mil dot on a 3-9 or similar is plenty good enough for hunting out to 400 or 500 so yards. If your ranging it you can work out holdover from a drop chart quicker than twiddling. It's...

I used to run a scope that had target turrets and left the caps off so I could dial. It was just a rabbit rifle though, so I could easily avoid the rain.

I don't see an issue with making foreigners wait 3 years for a FAL. After all, why take the chance of shortcutting the process when the consequences of getting it wrong will backfire on all other FAL...

Oh God I have no hope, I own a .223 a 6.5 creedmoor and a 7mm Rem Mag. I Obviously need to sell off the lot and buy PRC,s and RUM,s etc (if I believe in social media and shooting forums)

The only calibre that could bring about its demise would be the 223

Newish hunter. Got a 6.5 as it seemed to be a pretty versatile do all cartridge. Kept my Sauer's barrel at 22". It doesn't seem to get in the way when bush hunting, and it will keep its legs if I...
