If you’re new to bush stalking then go back to that spot a few times. It takes a fair bit of pressure to push animals out, if you didn’t fire a shot then there’s bugger all pressure on the animals....

Depends if you are an experienced shooter or not as to what caliber. As far as light weight goes, a large caliber that has good ballistics for extended ranges is going to kick, the lighter the rifle...

How many people here eat deer heart? Or for that matter Cham, tahr, wild game heart. It’s my favourite “cut”, to the point I deliberately aim for lung mass and away from heart as much as possible....
