Larskramer liked post by 308mate On thread : 300blk vs 6.5 grendel with short barrels
Interesting. Those black collar arms pork sword things that Ken from 55six was/is going to bring in were saying they prefer the 308 over 300blk when I asked them last year. I assume you dial the...

My howa 1500 are very accurate. Never had any issues with accuracy with mine.

I like the angle of a more vertical pistol grip for shooting comfortably over a traditional style grip. But yes, a chassis rifle can get hung up a little bit in thick scrub. Pro's and cons for both...

Couldn’t wait for a Tikka 6.5PRC so I bought this Sako 85 in 270wsm and will probably rebarrel one day if I need to. Just finished making this new stock for her. Weighs 3.5kg as pictured, minus...

Larskramer liked post by Mooseman On thread : waipakihi river hunt mid November- early Dec
Hunt where the sign is most obvious, at this time of year there should be activity on the river flats especially if there is a bit of grass coming through. Where you find plenty of sign on the flats...

Im sorry that our communication did not provide all the information that you were looking for. I can confirm that m-loc adapters do not fit our chassis and yes we can supply a picatinny rail that...

Yep the covers on the side make it look pretty until you need to take one off to install a rail for a torch or whatever

Although if it is reasonably lightweight it will still be a good crossover for the hunting rifle. Being Hardy it will be over-engineered, expensive but will likely work very well.

I load 71 grs of AR 2217 with the 150 gr ELDX for 3071 fps COAL is 84.5 mm. These loads have a slight bit of space once the bullet is seated. You should always try and select a powder that will fill...

Larskramer liked post by 10-Ring On thread : what modifications
A titanium recoil lug on the Tikka T3x won't give you any accuracy improvement over the steel lug - it's just for weight saving. The stainless recoil lug might've been a better choice although that...

From what I have seen you need to wear out at least one barrel before you can eliminate yourself as the biggest factor. With me good coaching has made a massive difference.

Having spent stupid amounts of money on Tikkas in the past I can tell you they shoot better than most people can shoot anyhow. Spend every spare cent you have on glass
